After getting laid off, I spent some time debating different careers I had contemplated in my childhood and adolescence. My mind raced as I thought through different pathways that turned and forked faster than I could write a cover letter until I rediscovered a love of painting that quieted the noise. While painting Blurred Roads, I wanted to capture the moment of calm felt looking out the window on a road trip. Letting all the colors blur together and finding some peace amidst the chaos.
